Day 1 - 3
On arrival in Johannesburg Airport you will be met by a representative of Federal Air. Federal Air will fly you straight to the Sabi Sabi private airfield in the world famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve. You will spend three wonderful nights at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.
Day 4
After breakfast on your last day at Bush Lodge you will be driven to the airfield and flown to Johannesburg. At the airport in Johannesburg you will be met by a driver / guide who will take you to the beautiful Rovos Rail station in Pretoria from where you will depart by train to Cape Town.
The journey with Rovos Rail will take 2 nights and you will be traveling through South Africa in style. The price includes all meals, local beverages as well as all excursions.
Day 6
When you arrive in Cape Town station you will be met by a chauffeur from Ellerman House.
In Cape Town you will spend 4 nights at the beautiful boutique hotel Ellerman House in Bantry Bay. This is a perfect place from where to explore Cape Town. The price includes accommodation, breakfast, complimentary spirits & beers, selected house wines, 3 daily shuttles to the V&A Waterfront and private chauffeur driven airport transfers.
The first night at Ellerman House we suggest that you have dinner at the hotel.
Day 7
After breakfast at Ellerman House you rental car will be delivered to you. We suggest that you spend the first day exploring the city, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. For dinner we suggest that you have dinner at La Colombe which is considered the best restaurant in South Africa and also one of the 50 best restaurants in the world.
Day 8
We suggest that you drive to Cape Point via the beautiful Chapmans Peak Drive. At Cape Point there is a nice restaurant for a light lunch (Two Ocean’s Restaurant). On your way back towards Cape Town you should stop at the Penguin Colony in Simons Town and also the little fishing village of Kalk Bay. For dinner we suggest that you eat at one of the many good restaurants in the V&A Waterfront.
Day 9
We suggest you spend the day at the nearby beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay and that you have dinner at the hotel.
Day 10
From Ellerman House you will drive through to the Cape Winelands to the magnificent boutique hotel La Residence. La Residence is located just outside of Franschhoek, a perfect location from where to explore the wine estates, restaurants and golf courses in the area. The price includes accommodation, breakfast, local beverages, full mini bar, teas and coffee as well as laundry.
On the way to Franschhoek we suggest you stop at some of the lovely wine farms and that you have lunch at Bread & Wine which great restaurant on a lovely wine farm on the outskirts of Franschhoek. For dinner we suggest that you eat at La Residence.
Day 11
After breakfast at La Residence you will be picked up for a full day private wine tour of the Cape Winelands with a wine maker. You will visit some of the loveliest wine estates and do some wine tasting. You will visit Delaire, Ernie Els, and Hidden Valley. For lunch we suggest Overture at Hidden Valley Wine Estate, which is considered one of the top restaurants in South Africa.
Day 12
We suggest that you spend the day relaxing at La Residence and that you go for dinner at Rust en Vrede which is located on a wine farm outside of Stellenbosch. Rust en Vrede is considered one of the top 10 restaurants in South Africa and also one of the top 50 restaurants in the world.
Day 13
After breakfast you will drive to Cape Town airport from where you will catch your return flight home.
