Terroir is a relaxed and intimate Winelands restaurant situated on the tranquil Kleine Zalze wine estate. Since opening in 2004, Terroir has quietly become one of the most sought-after gourmet destinations in the Cape Winelands, placing Stellenbosch firmly on the culinary map.
The menu at Terroir relies on the perfect ingredients to create what chef; Michael Broughton calls 'deceptively simple' food.
Menu items change regularly, according to seasonal availability of ingredients. The wine list is not only a showcase for the wines of Kleine Zalze, but also to a variety of other great wines from South Africa and the rest of the world.

Overture is situated on the Hidden Valley Wine Farm in Stellenbosch. It is truly beautiful with a view of the vineyards, Table Mountain and, on a clear day, even Robben Island. The small open plan kitchen allows patrons to experience viewing the creation of their dishes.
Overture Restaurant is the glorious result of the combined experience of Chef Bertus Basson and Chef Craig Cormack. They opened Overture Restaurant a year later, and Bertus and Craig are both multiple award winning chefs and they educate other junior chefs at various chef schools in the Western Cape.
The menu changes every day, not only because of a passionate desire to create great culinary experiences but also because of the incredible variety of seasonal and fresh ingredients in and around Stellenbosch. The best of the Cape is therefore whipped into masterpieces within minutes of arriving at the kitchen, and wonderful creativity expressed through cooking.

Moyo

Under the starlight African sky, set in a garden in the Western Cape Wine lands, Moyo at Stellenbosch is unlike any other restaurant. Moyo is located on the large wine farm Spier just outside of Stellenbosch.
Bedouin tents and Gazebos are placed throughout the garden and create an almost nomad African Village.
Moyo offers a diverse and eclectic a la carte menu and an abundant communal set menu to inspire you to explore the sophistication of African cuisine - your invitation to the feast.

The entrance path to the Guardian Peak winery takes you through the vineyards into a restaurant and winery oasis. With the Helderberg Mountain as a backdrop and music by David Gray in the background, one can’t help but sit back, relax and take in everything around you.
Emphasising their “wine with food” concept, the winery includes a demonstration kitchen where their full-time chef, Louisa Greeff, displays her culinary talents and provides patrons with meals intended to complement each of the wines. It’s located amidst the Old Biscuit Mill on Albert Road, famed for its Saturday morning markets in Woodstock.
Food Lovers and followers of award-winning chef Luke Dale-Roberts (famed executive chef at La Colombe Restaurant) will be excited with this new and exciting concept in fine dining. He has now stepped out on his own, creating The Test Kitchen from the ground up as the canvas to explore his cuisine to the fullest and with the independence of being an owner-chef.
The menu is a rather conventional one in layout and style – three or five courses with or without wine; or an eight course gourmet menu (only if all at table partake) that consists of a sample of nearly all the dishes currently on the regular menu.
This is high-end food, of international calibre. Dale-Roberts is notably making ample use of his Asian cooking experience, with many Eastern flavours and the frequent use of rice, all happily in concert with modern fashions. The value is fantastic for such wonderful food, the wine list itself is reasonable, making this a very exciting new dining option.

The Five Flies
