Other facilities at Tanda Tula include a curio shop, thatched bar / lounge overlooking the swimming pool, garden and waterhole, a restaurant, laundry services, private tarred airstrip with capacity for most twin aircraft and small executive jets.
You're most likely to spend your time in the elegant and comfortably furnished open-sided lounge and dining area, which leads out onto the lawns and pool.
Their cuisine is superb with fine international flavours with an African dimension. Breakfasts are legendary and hearty and are served daily at the bush site and after breakfast, guests can arrange a guided walk back to camp with their ranger.
In the evenings, guests can enjoy a delectable dinner in the boma, under the stars in the garden or, for the more adventurous, in the riverbed which runs alongside the safari camp. Here you will enjoy quintessential African cuisine prepared by highly trained and award-winning chefs.
Weather permitting, Guests can also have private picnics and “Starbeds” arranged out in the bush, in a lovely hide on the Machaton Dam.

Game drives cover a potential 20,000 hectares (49,400 acres), providing Tanda Tula with access to the largest area in Timbavati, and you'll likely spot at least three of the Big 5 in 1 day.
They are proud to support and host the save the elephants research program. This is an NPO that was established by the world renowned Dr Iain Douglas Hamilton in Kenya in 1976. Save the Elephants South Africa, has been operating a research program focusing on elephant migration patterns throughout the Greater Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, for the last 8 years.

Rates are per person sharing per night and include:
Tented accommodation, all meals, soft drinks, local beers & spirits, house wines, game drive activities and 14% VAT
Meals include: early morning tea, coffee and rusks are brought to your tent, bush breakfast, buffet lunch, afternoon tea and dinner in a different location every night.
Child Policy: Children of 8 years and older accepted
Children under 12 years pay 50% off Rack if they are sharing a tent with 2 full paying guests, otherwise full rates apply. Please note that this is an adult environment, there are no fences around the camp, and there are no special facilities for children.
