Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge

As you enter the reception you feel at once free, the wonderful flow of light and such open spaces combined with water features gives a serene and peaceful ambience. Throughout the décor is modern with light colored furniture, high ceilings and lots of glass walls. The open and airy dining area looks onto a lovely landscape garden and a raised wooden deck with two smaller pools and lots of deck chairs to soak up the sun and watch the animals coming for a drink at the nearby waterhole.

There are so many common areas that guests don’t need to be all together in one place, there is a bar, a lovely spacious and tranquil lounge, a TV room and outside there is a lovely garden next to the pool area. Bush Lodge is a bigger safari lodge with 25 suites and ideal for larger groups. 

“Every game drive is completely different and we were having a rather quiet morning, it was cold and the animals thought so too as we had not seen many in the first 3 hours. And so it is at times, accepting this we decided to head back to some lovely hot breakfast and suddenly in the space of 40 minutes we saw 4 of the big 5 – leopard, elephant, rhino and drove through a herd of 300 buffalo!”  - Alexandra
 
Suites at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge
There are 25 free standing rondavel suits with thatch roofs at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. All suites are very private and spacious with high ceilings and very cool and airy inside. The bathroom are equally spacious and have a big indoor and outdoor shower, bath tub and his and hers basin. The floors are all dark tiles against light walls with not so much décor and lots of natural light flowing through the many windows of the bedroom and separate lounge. The rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities like air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary mini bar and internet dial-up connection.

Mandleve is the presidential suite and furthest from the main building, the suite is very private with lovely views of the bush. The bedroom is very spacious with a big bed, big lounge area and veranda with plunge pool. Guests staying in the presidential suite get their own ranger and vehicle.

General Information:
Maximum 10 guests per vehicle.
Bush Lodge is a very child friendly game lodge and babysitting facilities are offered at an additional cost.
The lodge is not fenced in so wild animals can wonder into the lodge.
There is a small computer room with internet connection for guests.
There is a curio shop. 
To join on game drives children must be older than 6 years and on walking safaris older than 12 years.

- Open Land Rover safaris by day and at night to see Africa’s big game accompanied by qualified rangers and Shangaan trackers.

- A fine selection of sundowner drinks during your evening safari as well as return transfers from the Sabi Sabi Airstrip.

·         2 Years and younger: Stay free of charge in a cot.

·         3 - 5 Years: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay ZAR750-00 per child per night.

·         6 - 12 Years: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay ZAR1300-00 per child per night.

·         13 Years and over: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults will pay adult rate.

Children occupying their own room will pay the full adult rate for a maximum of 1 child (if 4 children sharing the remaining 3 will pay the applicable children′s rates).
