Rhino Post Safari Lodge

Rhino Post Safari Lodge is a modern version of a traditional African safari lodge, and this concept works very well.

Rhino Post is situated in the southern part of the world famous Kruger National Park. The safari lodge is situated next to a small river, and there is a large veranda overlooking the riverbed and bushveld, this is a great spot for sitting and enjoying a drink and watching the passing game. At night the guests gather here for a pre-dinner drink next to the fire.

Next to the large veranda lies the lodges main building, here there is a bar, dinning room and small curio shop.

Rhino Post also has a lovely pool where guest can relax in between game drives.

”We arrived at Rhino Post late in the afternoon so we decided to go to our beautiful room and relax. We sat down on the veranda outside our room to have a drink and within a few minutes three elephants came walking along the dry river bed about 30 meters from where we were sitting.” – Adam

Rooms at Rhino Post
Rhino Post is a small an intimate safari lodge with only 8 beautiful rooms. The rooms lie apart from each other giving the guests privacy and a sense of tranquility in the beautiful surroundings.

The rooms at Rhino Post are built in an eco friendly manner. They are spacious and decorated in a modern African safari style. The rooms are open plan between the bedroom and the spacious bathroom. In the bathroom there is a large bath with a wonderful view out towards the bush. There is also an outside shower for the more adventurous guests. 

All the rooms at Rhino Post also have their own private veranda overlooking the river.

Additional information
Rhino Post safari lodge is a relatively child friendly lodge and children under the age of 12 are welcome here. It is however important to know that children under the age of 12 are not allowed on game walks and children under the age of 6 are not allowed on game drives unless a private vehicle is rented.
