Kapama River Lodge is situated in the close to the Kruger National Park and it is a large private game reserve where guests can experience an amazing big five safari.
Kapama River Lodge is so named because it lies in a curve of the Kapama River, which is usually dry but floods from time to time and can reach the steps of the lodge swimming pool.
Kapama River Lodge is a large safari lodge and the public areas include a large rim-flow swimming pool with sun umbrellas and recliners for lazy afternoons. In the main lodge building there is also a large lounge as well as a bar with a big open fire place. At Kapama River Lodge there is a large main indoor dining area where breakfast and lunch is served and dinner is normally served in the large outdoor boma area.

At Kapama River Lodge there is also a beautiful bush spa where guests can relax and enjoy a treatment between game drives.
Suites
Kapama River Lodge features 64 spacious air-conditioned suites, with modern yet distinctly African furnishings. Each room also has its own balcony where guest can enjoy stunning views of the game reserve. Bathrooms are all en-suite with his and hers basins, and large baths and showers.

Children of all ages are welcome at Kapama River Lodge. All children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult during game drives and bush walks. Children will be permitted on game drives and walks at the sole discretion of the ranger or manager.
