The Peech is a relatively new and very trendy boutique hotel with minimalist décor to give a very relaxed feel and atmosphere in an otherwise busy Johannesburg city.
The Bistro @ The Peech restaurant in the main building looks out into the lovely garden and is also open to the public. With 10 rooms The Peech balances the business nature of most guests with the leisure aspect of an evening relaxing by the pool and having a few drinks at the Veuve Clicquot bar.
The Peech has a lovely indigenous garden and a small pool perfect for cooling down and unwinding after a day’s busy program.
Rooms at The Peech
In the main house there are two upstairs rooms and there are eight rooms in separate 2-storey annexes in the garden. In the main house, the suite with separate working area and the second room both have wooden floors, high ceilings and are very spacious. The outside annexes have a very discreet and modern look that blends nicely with the beautiful indigenous garden.
All rooms have a modern minimalist décor, are spacious with high ceilings and have a desk to work on. Flat screen TVs, Wifi connection and spacious bathrooms with rain dance showers and big baths add to the comfort of unwinding after a busy day. Downstairs rooms have a private patio and upstairs rooms have a veranda. There are safes and air-conditioning in all the rooms except for in the main house where air-conditioning is still to be installed.

The pool is next to the restaurant which is also open to the public, so there is not much privacy.
The Peech does not take children under 12 years old unless they are in a party of guests who book out the adjacent rooms.
The conference room in the main house accommodates 24-40 people. There is also a smaller board room for a maximum of 10 people.
The Bistro restaurant can do functions for 40-50 people and cocktail canapés for 80 people.
