Southern Cross Beach House is a lovely and modern beach house in a quiet neighborhood in Plettenberg Bay where guest’s can really un-wind and enjoy the tranquil seaside ambience. The guest house is small and has limited common areas, there is a very nice lounge and breakfast room that leads onto a lovely covered wooden deck with stunning views of the beach and ocean.
Although there is no swimming pool, there is a lovely garden and a 5km long beach at the foot of the garden which is where most guests spend most of their time.
The guest house is close to the town centre guests can enjoy sightseeing in and around Plettenberg Bay and then return to relax on the gorgeous beach with direct access from the garden. In season the Southern Right whale can often be seen from the guest house.

There are only five en-suite bedrooms decorated in a lovely modern and elegant way with light colours and whitewashed wood. None of the rooms look onto the ocean rather they are close together and lead onto the garden. Guests are so close to the beach that they can easily hear the lovely sound of waves breaking on the shore. The rooms are an adequate size with some bathrooms having shower only and others with separate bath and shower. All the rooms are all equipped with TV, tea and coffee facility and safe for guests´ comfort.
Close by:
Plettenberg Bay town centre is 3 minutes drive and Knysna is merely 35km away. A few great golf courses are a short drive away, amongst others Pezula and Simola.
General Information:
At the guest house there are three lovely and friendly dogs, an Airedale Terrier, a standard poodle and a large poodle.
Southern Cross Beach House is very close to Robberg Nature Reserve.
Children welcome only with prior arrangement.

The following rates are per person sharing including breakfast and the variation within the particular season relates to the difference between the particular rooms.
Two of the rooms have full bathrooms and the rooms also vary in size. Although the house overlooks the beach and there is direct access to the sea with there being no road between Southern Cross and the beach, the view of the bay is from the breakfast verandah where we serve breakfast and the lawn in front of it.
All the bedrooms are on the ground floor and face onto the garden courtyard.
