Set amidst the treetops of a beautiful indigenous forest, Tsala is a lavish celebration of the spirit of Africa. The design and décor is inspired by the ancient civilizations of central Africa whilst at the same time combining contemporary European design. The lodge is very luxurious and romantic, and as a proof of the high standard Tsala is a member of both Relais & Chateaux and Chaine des Rotisseurs.
Finding inspiration from the extraordinary ruins of the ancient central African civilizations the impressive stone-masonry entrance, flanked by water features leads onto an impressive foyer supported by polished Blackwood columns. The African inspired décor with its warm and earthy colours, rich textures and hand crafted finishes create a wonderful and luxurious feel. From the glassed-in lounge, the beautiful dining room and the large wooden deck the views are stunning, encompassing lush forests, valleys and distant hills.
The lodge is a beautiful example of fine architecture using natural elements like wood and stone and combining this with lots of glass to create a wonderful flow that brings nature into every space in the lodge. It is impossible not to relax in the magical surroundings of this enchanted forest lodge.
“Whilst staying at Tsala Treetop Lodge we felt as if we had entered a beautiful and enchanted forest. Everything from the magnificent suites to the amazing food was magical at Tsala. “- Adam
