Botlierskop offers a unique stay and is ideal for guests wanting a peaceful and magical setting on a private reserve home to game and beautiful nature.

Botlierskop is ideally located along the Garden Route and offers something quite unique in the Garden Route. Only four hours drive from Cape Town and just off the N2 this is a lovely first stop.

The lodge has a safari feel and is built in an eco-friendly way to blend in with the nature, thatch roofs and big windows leading out from the lounge and dining room to large open areas and wooden decks. The lodge is right next to a large dam with lovely views of the open plains and hills here guests are bound to see game as they sit enjoying a drink on the deck.

Botlierskop is a lovely option for families and has a warm welcome and very nice setting, like being on a large farm. The game reserve is 3000 hectares in size and there are many activities for guests such as horseback safari, bushwalk, elephant back rides, elephant feeding and drives on the game reserve. The drives give guests a chance to see some of the game and three of the big five that are free roaming as well as the varied landscape. The drives at Botlierskop are more nature drives than game drives.

“Botlierskop is a beautiful and romantic lodge and on the occasion we visited we took Adam’s cousin and girlfriend who were visiting from Sweden. The setting was ideal for a proposal and the next day cousin and girlfriend were now engaged.” - Alexandra

Tents at Botlierskop
There are 13 Luxury tents and two very spacious executive tents with own plunge pools that are set apart from the main building and are more private. The executive tents are lovely for honeymooners and families. The Luxury tents are closer together but still quite private and are spacious with a modern décor and nice bathrooms, outdoor shower and own deck.
