Lake Pleasant Living

Lake Pleasant is perfectly located by the banks of the lake that it is named after, 5 minutes from Sedgefield and 20 minutes from Knysna.

The main building has a little library next to the hotel’s restaurant and bar called Bistro with a lounge that leads to the breakfast and dining room. There is a spa with heated pool, a small gym, sauna and steam room that leads to a stunning infinity pool with view of the lake. The hotel also has a small jetty and if you want to hire a boat or a jet ski, you can do this right next door.

Rooms at Lake Pleasant Living
There are 28 rooms in the main building all decorated in a classic elegant design. The rooms consist of one and two bedroom standard rooms. All the rooms at Lake Pleasant Living have a lounge and fully equipped kitchenette including a dishwasher. At Lake Pleasant Living the rooms have an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and a guest bathroom, most of them with shower. All the rooms have all the modern amenities including flat screen TV with satellite TV, air conditioner with hot and cold functions in all rooms, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are next to each other but there is no noise apart from the subtle noise of the birds that live in the area.

There are also 10 villas at Lake Pleasant similar in décor to the rooms in the main building. All of the villas have a lounge and dining area with fireplace, guest bathroom as well as a full equipped open plan kitchen as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a king size bed and the other one with twins beds that can be turned into an extra large double bed. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with both a shower and bath. Each villa also has a braai (barbeque) and a plunge pool outside on the big veranda.

Both rooms in the main building and the villas have sleeper couches in the living area and balconies with view of the lake.
