Owners Joep and Marion have created something out of the ordinary and very different to other small hotels on Wine Estates. African Valley Estate is very modern and sleek with vibrant colours and bold décor very appealing to trendy travelers.
The reception area is also the main lounge, bar and restaurant so guests are limited for common areas but there is a lovely terrace overlooking the vineyards and each room has its own lounge and private balcony. African Valley Estate is ideal for guests who spend most of the day exploring the Cape Winelands and then want to relax by the pool or on their balcony and enjoy the tranquility around them.
African Valley Estate is also great for families as the rooms are either side of the big lawn and 20m lap pool so there is plenty of space for children to run around and play.
“After a long day’s work we arrived at African Valley Estate in time to see the beautiful sunset before having a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Joep and Marion were there to greet us and when we finally went to our room we felt relaxed and at home in the beautiful winelands setting.” Alexandra
