Le Quartier Francais

Le Quartier Francais is a boutique hotel with 22 rooms and it does not feel big as each building is surrounded by lovely manicured gardens creating a very picturesque setting. Most rooms look out to the quad where the lovely big pool is. The gardens are beautifully kept and the setting very quaint with lovely views, guests will not believe that they are in the centre of Franschhoek village.

Adjacent to the hotel is a spacious two-bedroom cottage which is charming and has a lovely homely, country feel yet modern décor. This is ideal for a group or family who prefer self-catered although breakfast can also be included. There is a fully fitted kitchen and lovely lounge and dining area with large French doors that open up to the private garden and pool.

Le Quartier Francais is on the main road in Franschhoek yet the hotel has a lovely peaceful setting and guests can enjoy a quiet and relaxed day by the pool after wine tasting and sight seeing.

Le Quartier Francais has two restaurants, Ici Bistro where guests have breakfast is also open for lunch and dinner and offers more casual meals and The Tasting Room which is notorious for the fine dining 5-course tasting menu. The décor is very modern and intimate with a maximum seating for 45 people.

Suites at Le Quartier Francais
There are 22 rooms at Le Quartier Francais, 15 Luxury rooms and 7 Suites, the main difference being in size and amenities. All the rooms are spacious with a lounge area, decorated in modern furniture and colours and some have a patio. The Quarter suites are apart from the other rooms and are very private with exclusive with a private pool and lounge. These suites are gorgeous and very spacious and also have separate lounge and dressing room.

All the rooms offer your modern amenities such as under-floor heating, air-conditioning, complementary wireless, TV and DVD player and there are a selection of DVDs at reception that guests can borrow.
