This is real country living, the accommodation at Klein Waterval is not ultra luxurious but it is very charming and offers great value for money. For guests wanting to experience a tranquil and rural setting in the Cape Winelands this is a great alternative. The farm has been renovated over the years but maintains its original charm.
The owners who also live and work on the farm, have created a lovely relaxed atmosphere with warm and friendly staff to take care of the guests. Klein Waterval has an unpretentious feel, the décor fits perfectly with the genuine cozy farmhouse.
Klein Waterval has a lovely big pool and lawn, with sun loungers and gorgeous views of the mountains, set apart from the rooms and main farmhouse so that guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Rooms at Klein Waterval Riverside lodge
Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge has 12 double rooms with high ceilings and some have thatch roofs. Although not luxurious the rooms are very comfortable and nice and have been decorated in natural tones. Some rooms have smaller bathrooms with only a shower and others have bigger bathrooms with separate shower and bath. All the rooms have TV, coffee and tea facilities and heater panels. There is no air-conditioning or ceiling fans in the rooms so it can get very hot in the summer.

Klein Waterval is opposite Graham Beck Wine Estate on the Franschhoek wine route.
10 to 30 minutes drive:
10 minutes drive to Franschhoek and many great wine estates and restaurants.
20 minutes drive to Stellenbosch and to Paarl.
General Information:
Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge is close to the main road that goes into Franschhoek so it can get particularly noisy on Sunday mornings with hundreds of bikers driving past.
Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge does not accept children under 12 year.
