La Residence

La Residence is located in the majestic Franschhoek valley and was opened in November 2007.  La Residence is set on an estate that  extends over 30 acres of planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz vines, lavender and olive trees.

At La Residence everything is in abundance from the beautiful original artwork to the lovely antiques, high ceilings with crystal chandeliers mixed with vibrant fresh colours. All of this makes La Residence the epitome of a dream home. It is absolutely the most exquisite and unique hotel we have visited. A magnificent grand entrance, exceptional welcome and service, phenomenal suites and beautiful garden and pool. Suites at La Residence
There are 11 suites at La Residence individually decorated with French, Indian and Japanese antiques mix matched to create a fantastic over the top yet homely and warm décor that you can not help but love. All suites at La Residence are very spacious and the bathrooms are palatial, all suites also have either a private veranda or huge balcony. At La Residence the suites have air conditioning and under floor heating, safe, hairdryer, complimentary mini-bar, tea & coffee facilities and wireless Internet.

General Information:
La Residence is a wheel-chair friendly hotel.
The hotel does not accept children under the age of 12.
La Residence can arrange a therapist to do in-room treatments alternatively they will help to book treatments at one of the spas in the vicinity.
There is no gym at La Residence but guests can enjoy walks around the vineyards and there is a selection of activities that can be organized.
La Residence offers its guests a 3-course lunch menu (R400 pp) and a 4-course dinner menu (R550 pp) which can be booked on the same morning.  Alternatively guests can take the short drive to the main road where there is a large selection of world-renown restaurants.
La Residence is ideal for small weddings.
At La Residence there is also a boardroom which makes the hotel ideal for a small corporate getaway.
