Kensington Place is a lovely small hotel, with open and airy spaces, downstairs dining room, lounge and bar that open onto a terrace and a beautiful manicured garden with small couches and deck chairs for guests to relax. The pool is small but adequate for guests wanting to cool off after a whole day sight seeing in Cape Town.
With only eight rooms Kensington Place offers privacy and exclusivity to its guests. The owners have decorated and turned this home into a lovely design hotel, very modern and minimalist with contemporary art this is a trendy Cape Town hotel with a peaceful Zen inspired setting.
Rooms at Kensington Place
At Kensington Place there are seven bedrooms upstairs in the main house and one in the garden. The upstairs rooms all have lovely views of the city and harbour and their own private balconies. The garden room has no view but is very private with its own patio and small garden with pond.
The other rooms are spacious and painted with warm colours, each room has a different theme and layout. The bathrooms are relatively small and have either a bath with shower over the bath or a shower only. There is one standard room that is smaller with a shower only.
All the rooms are equipped with modern amenities for the guests ultimate comfort.
