The Cape Grace Hotel

The Cape Grace Hotel is one the most well know luxury hotels in Afria. Recently the hotel had a full refurbishment of all the rooms, suites, lounges and restaurant to give it a more modern contemporary look. All in the themes of history of the Cape, the curtains are handpainted fabrics with illustrations of botanical flowers, the passages have artefacts, paintings and fabrics telling stories of the Dutch East India Company explorations into the trade route between Holland and the East where the only possible sea route was around the Cape . This is a truly beautiful hotel and undoubtedly guests staying at The Cape Grace will experience a truley luxurious stay.

Although the Cape Grace is a big hotel with 121 rooms and suites there is a very personal welcome awaiting guests at the Cape Grace.

The Cape Grace also has a lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated inside and with a lovely veranda overlooking the yachts and pool. The Bascule Bar which sits on the yacht pier is a favourite among tourists and locals for sundowners. Bascule also has one of the worlds largest whiskey collections.

There are 121 rooms and suites which have recently undergone a lift to bring a more modern Capetonian look with mirrored walls, handpainted curtains and lovely warm colours. All the rooms and suites are spacious and most have a balcony with lovely views overlooking the yachts or the harbour. The different room and suite categories range from luxury rooms to 1 and 3 bedroom suites and there is also a magnificent rooftop penthouse. The Cape Grace is ideal for families, groups and couples.

The pool at The Cape Grace is not very big.
The Cape Grace has all the 5 star hotel facilities like 24 hour room service, complimentary chauffeur transfer within 20km, in-house restaurant and bar open daily.
The Cape Grace offers complimentary transfer to the gym close by.
Wireless Internet in all the rooms and public areas.
For smaller conferences there is a boardroom that seats 14 delegates.
