At Elephant House there are two different accommodation options for guest to choose from, The Elephant House and The Stable Cottages. Elephant House is the more upmarket of the two, offering luxury throughout with a number of well decorated lounges as well as two stunning pools. Elephant House also offers 24-hour room service, quite unusual for a guest house next to the bush.
The Stable Cottages are just next door and have a completely different vibe. While Elephant House has a rustic yet luxurious colonial African style with stunning antiques and lounges, the Stable Cottages are more laid back, spread out in a big open area with a swimming pool in the middle. The restaurant where you have breakfast, light lunches and dinner is just across from the pool and serves lovely food by very special and friendly staff.
Rooms
There are 9 rooms at Elephant House, furnished in a rustic colonial style but still luxurious and they are all individually decorated. Most of the bathrooms are modern with separate shower and bath. Some of the rooms are next to each other while others are in a separate area and offer more privacy.
There are 6 Stable Cottages spread out around the property. All the cottages are free standing, very spacious with comfortable king size beds and nice bathrooms with shower only, but it is a huge walk-in shower.
All the rooms offer the basic comforts expected such as mini bar, hairdryer, air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities.
