Outeniqua, named after the mountain range that overlooks the area has a different look than the Montagu, so they complement each other perfectly as varying playing experiences.
The Outeniqua is regarded as the easier course of the two, being more open in appearance, yet it has its share of challenges and risk-and-reward moments. Water hazards or streams come into play on as many as 11 of the holes, including four of the last five.
The warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a chipping and bunker practice area, is available to all golfers before play.
Golf carts are available for hire, weather permitting.
In addition, Fancourt has an exceptional golf academy that houses a Tailor-made Fitment Centre and state-of-the-art teaching facilities, backed up by the expertise of PGA professionals. To keep golfers looking the part, there are two well-stocked pro shops, offering a wide variety of clothing, accessories and hardware.

Montagu and Outeniqua are walking golf courses. Golf cart availability is subject to weather conditions and course maintenance. Golf carts must be booked in advance, as a limited number are available. Any golf carts booked in advance must be cancelled within 24 hours or the full tariff will be charged to your account.
There must be at least one caddy per 2-ball or two caddies per 3 and 4-ball. Caddy fees are to be settled in cash immediately after your game. Rates include Caddy foundation payable in the Pro Shop after your round. A recommended tip of R20 – R30 is optional.
