How long in advance should I book?

South Africa is a very popular destination, so we recommend that you book well in advance especially if you are planning to travel here during Christmas and New Year. During this period you should be booking your flight latest by August to get a good price and we recommend that already then you book your accommodation for the entire visit.

How do I book?

To book through us is very easy. You can call or email us the dates you will be in South Africa, and if you want also your preferred boutique hotel, guest house and safari lodge, and we will do the rest. Within 48 hours (week days) we will send you an itinerary with a suggested trip and once you are fully satisfied with the itinerary we will then make all the booking reservations and send you an invoice with the payment conditions.

How do I pay?

You have two options: you can do a direct transfer to Travel For Life’s bank account in South Africa, which is easily done using your Internet banking. You will find Travel For Life’s bank details on your invoice which is sent together with your final itinerary.

Can Travel For Life help me with my other bookings like domestic flights, golf and restaurants?

Of course we are happy to help you book domestic flights, golf and restaurants reservations. Sometimes such reservations take a considerable amount of time and we therefore charge R350 per group. This amount is irrespective of how many bookings we make for you.

What travel regulations are there when travelling to South Africa?

Europeans normally do not require a visa to visit South Africa, but please check with your nearest South African embassy to make sure before you leave. However on arrival you must be able to show a return ticket within 3 months of entering the country. It is equally important that your passport is valid and that it has at least 2 empty pages in it.
